The final countdown

One of my high school friends is just a few weeks away from finishing her three-year stint as Mission Mom in Honduras: Hermana Klein.

She's been very active on social media, documenting her daily dealings on a number of sites — Facebook, Twitter, Instagram. It's been fascinating to see how a mission looks from the other side.

One last transfer left, that great transfer from which no man (or Mission Mom) ever returns.

Gracias for the insights, Hermana!

  1. Hahahah! So funny - thank you for thinking of us! We're still wearing the white shirts and ties to the very end (well . . . for me, it's a skirt :) The finish line is coming up quickly.

  2. Hmm, I just realized this mission president is also the bishop – I don't know how he does it! cf. http://beckstrombuzz.blogspot.com/2016/05/hey-kids-its-smiting-time.html

    1. Those guys in leadership positions all look alike! You can tell the difference because the mission president always sits on the right hand side, the bishop is usually on the left.
