It's happier and healthier
Apparently this isn't as far fetched a thought as I first thought. There's a thing called the Teal Pumpkin Project. It's for kids who can't have candy but still want to enjoy trick or treating. Putting a teal pumpkin outside your door indicates that you have treats other than candy available for those kids (although it's OK to have candy for everyone else as well).

Behind the curtain
Social media sure has changed the complexion of political campaigns. There's little to no screening for truth in messaging (even more so than in the past), it seems like anyone can say almost anything they want and get away with it, and rumors become fact before the end of the news cycle!
If you believe everything you read, apparently this year the folks from Down Below aren't just running the campaigns — they're the actual candidates!

Sketchbook: Post-Conference
October General Conference has come to a close. I've compiled my notes into a handy, downloadable PDF that you can use as a refresher or a quick study guide.
If you still haven't had a chance to view Conference, check it out online at lds.org. You'll be glad you did.
