This is the same rational I use for not participating in my ward's choir.
In our ward, the only requirement for being in the choir is that you have a pulse. And even that's optional.
I keep telling choir directors my cat sings better than I do. Thankfully, they seem to believe me. ;)
There are few things worse than a service project gone awry. But isn't it all about the intent rather than the outcome?
