I BUTCHERED some spaghetti sauce I made the other day. I put in ingredients I felt would make it better: Vinegar, bacon, onions, peppers, and chiles. The latter three worked!
As for the former two, I put in too much vinegar and bacon is no substitute for beef. It was edible. But it made me feel sick.
