Sketchbook: It's a gas
I can't take credit for this, although it really did come from my sketchbook. We had a fireside last night with Will Tukuafu of the Seattle Seahawks, who is LDS. He wasn't really crying during his testimony. It was tear gas.
I would have made the drawing look more like No. 46, but he threatened everyone that "this better not show up on Snapchat!" I decided not to take the risk.

Sketchbook: Wild West Throwback
Last week I mentioned that this blog is now eight years old. Back in the early days there wasn't much in the way of readership. I thought it might be fun to go back and look at some of those early posts that haven't seen the light of day in years.
This one, was the second sketchbook excerpt that I posted. It still makes me smile.

In which I become accountable
Today marks the eighth anniversary of this blog! That means I've reached the age of accountability, so now I guess I have to start being responsible. Dang!
As usual when I reach a major milestone, I bring back my first cartoon ever published — that was a LONG time ago! Since that time my cartoons have appeared in many newspapers, magazines, websites (in several different languages), and many have been appropriated to be fill material in ward bulletins!
Thank you for your continued support and readership. Keep coming back!

Rock stars!
If you haven't listened to (or read) all of the talks from General Conference yet, you really ought to. There's a lot of really good stuff! I'd start listing some of my favorites, but that would be most of them!
The General Conference page on the Church website makes it easy — in addition to videos, there is also a page that has summaries. They've really added a lot to the site. Check out those (built upon the) rock stars!

Sketchbook: General Conference notes
Another wonderful conference has come to a close. There were a lot of great messages, a lot of answers, and a lot of things I need to work on!
I've made a PDF of my notes that you can download and use. They're good for review and to use in conjunction with the Mormon Cartoonist's review packet (there's your Family Night lesson right there!). Please feel free to share them!
