My early morning seminary teacher discovered the Book of Mormon as an audiobook — for us, listening to that was almost as good as a fresh pillow in the morning!
I grew up listening to the Book of Mormon on cassette. Rex Campbell's voice became sort of iconic to me as a result.
Early morning Seminary didn't become hard for me to attend until I became less righteous later on in my teen years. Before then, I was hyped and getting to Seminary was an easy thing. I loved Seminary so getting up at about 5 or 5:30 AM was hardly a sacrifice, and I was almost always on time or early.
I've been cartooning since I was a teenager, and have been published in magazines ranging from AASHTO Quarterly to the LDS Church magazines and several other periodicals, trade publications and newsletters.
