How deep?
I did this one a long time ago for the UDOT newsletter following a particularly heavy storm. It seems appropriate to run now as well. During the Christmas storms (aka Arctic Blast 2008!), our ODOT crews had to close Interstate 84 east of Portland through the Columbia River Gorge because of high winds and drifting snow. Our crews usually plow in tandem to be more effective, but on this occasion the road was covered over with drifting snow before the second plow could get through. It was pretty nasty. Check out some of the storm photos on the ODOT Flickr page.
