One of my first days in the mission field I was assigned to make pancakes for breakfast. Unfortunately, my language skills were limited. I couldn't tell which was the powdered vanilla and which was the corn starch.I chose poorly!

Powdered vanilla? I'd never heard of that before.
ReplyDeleteNeither had I! I hear that's what the best chefs in France use -- and the worst cooks in the mission field!
ReplyDelete:). My brother-in-law reports that he was rather popular among his fellow missionaries because he was about the only one who could cook (he is a good cook, actually).
