    I like this one. Perhaps you should propose it to J.J. Abrams as a possible story for his forthcoming Star Trek movie. Much in the same vein as The Voyage Home had the crew traveling back in time to rescue the whales; Spock, Kirk, and company could travel back in time to participate in a pioneer trek reenactment for some reason or other.

    Didn't they already do that with Spectre of the Gun? Of course, they made the Khan episode the basis of three movies, so why not?
