Memorial Day always reminds me of visiting relatives and hearing stories from our family history. I thought it would be interesting to transfer that concept to the folks over at Zarahemla Times.
Thanks. We've also got Jacob next to Nephi and Lehi, King Benjamin in the upper right corner, Abish kind of in the middle and one of Helaman's stripling warriors. Most of the rest are those obscure relatives that you always hear about but can never remember their names.
I've probably spent too much time thinking about this, but the inclusion of Abish and the stripling warrior suggests some Lamanite blood within the Zarahemla Times family.
I think that's cool and I'm interested from which side of the family does that come from?
I've been cartooning since I was a teenager, and have been published in magazines ranging from AASHTO Quarterly to the LDS Church magazines and several other periodicals, trade publications and newsletters.

That's a really pretty sketch. I recognize Lehi, Nephi, and the parents from Zarahemla Times; is there anyone else in the family tree I should know?

I'm impressed that you even gave it a second thought! Truth is, the Lamanites are on the mom's side. They're related to the Anti Nephi Lehis.
