I think it's hilarious when we have a similar idea, but the execution is just a little different. You see it all the time in the comics pages, where several strips have a variation on a theme — but they all manage to be unique. I don't think of it as stealing or even repurposing. Someone wants that joke out there and they'll use as many of us as they can to get it.
And I totally agree about drawing the Charlton Heston hair!
