Sketchbook: Brat

You may have heard of Charli XCX’s album “Brat” that gave way to Brat Summer, described as “accepting your imperfections and embracing the chaos.” 

Brat green* became the color of the season — and I noticed that it was awfully similar to Disney’s evil green. And that’s what brought us here. 

And that over-long explanation is one of the many reasons that this one stayed in the sketchbook. 
 

*The gag was way less effective without the color, and I just kept going.

Taking one for the team

My son and his high school football team just took the ALS ice bucket challenge. After watching some of the celebrity videos, I wondered what it would be like if some historical figures participated!
