Enhanced flavors

Ice cream is great. Gelato can be amazing.

What I find amazing is this isn't the first time we've had kids eat gelato after they dropped it on the ground. I'm not sure the five second rule applies to the streets of Paris when they're three weeks into a garbage strike!

We all scream

So it's 103 in Provo, 110 in St. George, 93 in Tokyo, 88 in Knob Noster, MO. I think it's a GREAT idea to street contact the ice cream vendors, don't you?

Counting your blessings

And Sis. Kerry Jo has good reason to count her blessings — Vol. 2 of her mission blog is now in print! Vol. 1 ended with her arrival in the mission field; Vol. 2 follows her adventures as she adjusts to life as a missionary! The First Transfer is the Hardest is available for purchase on Amazon!

It's a good time for publishing by Latter-day Saint cartoonists: Ward Cartoonist Arie Van De Graaff has a new book out, too: Scripture Power Activity Book. It's perfect for church, home or the back seat of the car. Check it out!

A taste of Europe

There are few things more sad than dropping a big scoop of ice cream on the ground. One thing that is worse is dropping amazing gelato — not just onto the ground, but onto a busy sidewalk in a major European capital! Dang!

Monday Sketchbook: What do you do in the summertime?

I liked this idea for a "missionaries in the summer" gag (when I was on my mission, one of our favorite things to do in the summer was get ice cream). But I thought it was a little too similar to one I did about missionaries ordering pizza.

I wonder if we have any rocky road left?
