Another argument for reopening schools!

Our district was supposed to start holding in-person classes for the lower elementary kids this week. But then we got hit with an ice storm last Thursday that took out power to a huge swath of the state. Here it is almost a week later and there are still a lot of houses without power, and classes have been canceled all week.

These past twelve months have been strange!

It's all about growth

About a week or so ago, they had a day when the seniors could go into the school building to turn in their books, pick up their graduation robes, and clean out whatever they wanted from their lockers. There weren't a lot of them who gathered stuff from their lockers!

I dunno — some of those lockers get awfully scary!

Locker clean-out day has to be one of the most frightening and disgusting days of the entire school year.
