Spring has brought me such a nice surprise!

A lot of the missionaries who are serving here in the Pacific Northwest come from drier climes, like Utah or Arizona. There are a lot more pollen producing plants here — especially in the springtime — and the missionaries often discover wonderful things... like allergies that they never had before!

This gag really isn't too far from the truth. There's a lot of pollen in the air around here this time of year. One of my coworkers actually does buy her tissue at one of the warehouse stores and has a stack of boxes she keeps under her desk because she goes through them so quickly in the springtime.
