There’s nothing that can beat a beautiful spring day! Especially in the Pacific Northwest when there isn’t any rain!
 

Dress for your guess

Bright, sunny, clear and cold is the forecast today. Jacket weather? Sweater weather? Who knows?

Spring has brought me such a nice surprise!

A lot of the missionaries who are serving here in the Pacific Northwest come from drier climes, like Utah or Arizona. There are a lot more pollen producing plants here — especially in the springtime — and the missionaries often discover wonderful things... like allergies that they never had before!

It's unusual for us here in Oregon to have snow days from school. It's even more rare for us to have them in March. Last night it snowed enough — up to 12 inches in some places — that school was cancelled yet again.

When I drove past the high school this afternoon, though, the track team and the baseball team were both out there practicing!

We always looked forward to the day when the sun came out and the jackets came off!

I was one who didn't understand spring break. I thought it was just time off that they gave us around Easter so we could do chores.

I must've had pretty smart parents, eh?
