Sketchbook: Reaching to the sky

One of the things I like about the Tower of Babel story is that it all starts because they came up with a new way of making bricks. Baking the bricks makes them stronger than simply sun drying them — therefore they could build a super high tower to reach the heavens. 

I also like that they use the word "slime" in the same verse. It's a word that we call a hidden treasure —like Nimrod and Moron — that makes certain family members giggle during scripture study time.

Wait, isn't this the same set of siblings who built the Lego City of Enoch? Maybe they're going to become regulars with topics related to our Come, Follow Me studies this year. Who knows? 
 

Plain language, people!

I've just been translating stuff from jargon into English for our procurement section. I wonder if that had any influence in the creation of this cartoon?
