Let the trumpets blow

Last week in Come, Follow Me we learned about Joshua and the battle of Jericho. This week as we study Judges, we learn about Gideon and his surprise attack at night. Both stories involve the shofar, the trumpets made out of ram's horns. 

That got me to wondering, would I know how to make a trumpet out of a ram's horn? It sounds easy, but it's probably harder than it seems!

This came out of my notes from the "Come, Follow Me" studies this past week. I kind of like the idea of staying outside the bishop's office and blasting a trumpet every time someone hands him a tithing envelope!
