Sketchbook: Street contacting

It may be unsurprising that this was inspired by a Far Side cartoon. I like how the "bad" missionaries are basically just street contacting.
 

Seeking harbor

He may not be the only one this happens to.
 

It started with an apricot tree

Believe it or not, this started with sketches around Jacob and Esau and a mess of pottage. We wound up with two kids and a mess!

 

Covering all the bases

There are missionaries who can cook, and there are missionaries who can order take out. The world has need of both.
 

Likening the Old Testament unto us

It might work to get a date, but it won't make you friends amongst the custodial staff. 
 

Sketchbook: Cutting it close

When one of my sons returned home from his mission, he asked if he could do a special family night — to teach his little brothers the correct way to shave!

This could also be seen as a commentary on how young the new missionaries seem to be, even if they are mature spiritually!

 

Truth reflects

I had senior companions who told me lots of stuff that turned out not to be true. Like the time they said it was my turn to clean out the garbage chute for the apartment building!
