A wellspring

In the Bible, a lot of good things happen when people visit wells. It's a consistent theme in both the Old and the New Testaments. 

Interestingly, to me anyway, this is the second cartoon I've made about the courtship of Isaac. They both include drinking fountains at school.

Looking for a few good men

As I was flipping through the channels the other day, I came across an old game show called Password Plus. The technology was a bit rough around the edges, not nearly as slick as what we see on TV today. 

The rustic technology got me thinking what game shows would have been like back in the pioneer era? Some of those ideas may be showing up during the next couple of weeks. Be prepared.

Yes, as a missionary one needs to be prepared to teach and testify. One also needs to be prepared for outright rejection.

Our stake did its trek last week. On Sunday our Young Women asked about the possibility of having a multi-ward activity with a very specific ward that has, apparently, a strong Young Men's program. Coincidence?

As missionaries, we often got mistaken for people in other professions, usually the CIA (but there was that one time where someone wondered if we we members of KISS, but that's another story). But we were never suspected of being there to promote online dating — probably because it hadn't been invented yet!

What's that smell?

Way better than what we've got going here — our valley is filled with smoke from the wildfires. I was glad to be wearing my mask to filter out some of the smoke, at least!
