One day in Kirtland

Would it be easier if we had a kit?

Oh, how lovely was the back yard

It's been about five and-a-half months since Pres. Nelson invited us to review the Restoration and the First Vision. How are you doing with that?

I know that the French Revolution is true...

I've had nightmares of doing something like this at work. Have you?

One spring day

In the spring of 1820, Joseph Smith was just a teenager looking for some answers. Like most teenagers, he had no idea how his life was going to turn out.

Like a lot of lifelong members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I've heard, told and taught the Joseph Smith story dozens of times — if not more — in a couple of different languages.

I've recently been listening to the Joseph Smith Papers' podcast of the First Vision, and it's enhanced my perspective and understanding.  I highly recommend giving it a listen. Put it on your to-do list!
