Time is fleeting

The same thing is true in Gospel Doctrine, except we have more instruction time than we used to. It's still a challenge to get them to settle down some days!

Sketchbook: Just a little late

Just a few weeks ago and this one wouldn't have made much sense. Our Gospel Doctrine teacher still struggles with the concept of no opening prayer. On the other hand, our elders quorum has tried twice now to get away without having any prayers at all!

We'll get it figured out, eventually!

It's going to take some time this time

I know a lot of people are really looking forward to the new two-hour block of meetings on Sunday. I'm one of those who will probably feel guilty enough to want to linger longer because it will be too early to go home!

Good times I remember

...and the hymn books were either brown or blue.

Planning ahead

The time needed to fulfill my calling will be diminished significantly with the switch to the two-hour block. That change will create some interesting administrative challenges  beginning at the first of the year.
