Time to let my fan colors fly as BYU has its first game in the WCC tournament tonight! We showed love to Jimmermania, so how about a little for this year’s team? 

Each in her own language

That's one of the most difficult things when one returns from a mission — no one else seems to speak the same language. Whether it's missionary jargon, carry-over colloquialisms, accents or language blends, it's challenging when nobody gets what you're saying.

This is one of those quotes that can sound completely different depending on context.

If the Primary President said it in ward council, it would be inspirational. If a couple of rowdy kids were bouncing off the walls in sharing time, it would be time to call their parents.

I think the actual quote was, "Eat your vitamin pills. Get some rest. It's going to be exciting!"

I don't know about you, but I've started taking my vitamins!
