I love it when stuff from the general leadership of the Church comes into my feed. Their content certainly helps beat back the doom and gloom of other sources!
 

Sketchbook: It's a smashing idea to follow the prophet!

The smashed bottle trope has become ubiquitous in the Church memeisphere. The memes started during Elder Haynie's talk and they show no signs of slowing. But do you remember a few years ago when Pres. Nelson talked about how he poured out all the liquor from his parents' stash in the basement and broke all the bottles? I think he has a thing about liquid containers!

What was your favorite part of General Conference? Any new temples in your area?

Cancel culture is nothing new. Ask almost any prophet!* Although in Noah's case, it was kind of a reverse cancel.

Looking for a strong connection

They just announced that the April General Conference will be held virtually, for the third time in a row. Can you imagine what it would look like if they filled the Conference Center with Zoom screens and we could all join in?
  

Follow the prophet. Really.

If y'all know Sis. Kerry Jo, you know she couldn't just sit quietly and let this pass. Everyone deserves respect — some people just don't know it yet!

If I were a general authority, I'd want to go to the person who cuts Elder Uchtdorf's hair. 

Sketchbook: Movie night!

Saturday was our Missionary Movie Night. It was amazing! We had a great turnout, and there were many wonderful testimonies shared through the videos. Some were touching, some were funny, and all of them were built with the intent to show what the Book of Mormon is all about.

We helped the missionaries make a few videos, and we entered a few ourselves. We have our videos posted on YouTube — we hope to have the rest posted soon! Please view, and feel free to share!

And, in the spirit of following the prophet, Pres. Nelson challenged us to go on a social media fast for seven days. In support of that, we'll be going quiet until next Monday. See you then, and keep the faith!
