It's a little sad when a missionary starts to go bald while out on a mission. But we can still do jokes about it — as long as they don't get past the sketchbook stage!

OK, I know there are many well-coiffed bishops. I've also seen many of them grow into their calling and out of a need for hair care products during their time in office. 

I see your true colors

From what I can tell, being in the bishop's chair will make your hair turn gray. What would be the opposite of that?

I'm sure that's something most guys can relate to — those days when your tie just won't tie right. Last Sunday I tried three times to get my tie to be the right length. Then I gave up and decided to wear a sweater so it wouldn't matter.

I've been watching our local missionaries as they do their Facebook feeds. Each time they come on, their hair looks a little bit longer. It won't be long, I'm afraid, that some of them will try some self-trimming.

Although elders and sisters have a lot of similar experiences as missionaries, their approach and reaction are often worlds apart.

If I were a general authority, I'd want to go to the person who cuts Elder Uchtdorf's hair.
