Fresh from the MTC

Our area just got a new missionary fresh from the MTC, Elder Cornell. When they introduced him as green, this popped into my head. It's the elders' fault!

And honestly, Frankenstein's monster looks pretty good as a missionary — better than I expected at least.

I think Dr. Frankenstein would be an early adopter of new technology, so of course he would have an EV — but it would be built out of spare parts.

On an historical note, this is my first cartoon to be built with an assist from AI. I used Photoshop’s generative fill for an assist with the electrical jump. I didn’t wind up using what it created, but it gave me some ideas to build on.

October always turns my mind to family history. I don't know why... I wonder if Dr. Frankenstein has something to do with it?

Cartoonist Rick Kirkman of Baby Blues fame came up with an idea to have cartoonists say thank you to the front line workers today. Cartoonists were asked to include six symbols to represent the people who have been on the front lines: a mask for medical professionals, a fork for food service workers, a shopping cart for grocers, an apple for teachers, a steering wheel for those in the transportation industry, and a microscope for the scientists and researchers trying to find a cure..

At the same time I got that news, I was studying in Come, Follow Me — about Alma and the mighty change of heart. Which evolved into this. It may be more of a Halloween-themed cartoon...but its heart is in the right place!

What do the monsters do after Halloween? There can't be a lot of call for their particular set of skills.

This must be relatives week. It's my brother's birthday, so I had to run a cartoon about brothers.

Please don't misinterpret this -- my brother isn't a redneck, not is he a monster. He's actually a pretty good guy.
