You've tried scrubbing it out

Considering some of the stuff they used to use for cleaning clothes, I might agree that dirty might be better!
 

Three degrees of laundry

I heard from someone who worked in the laundry room at the temple that they add a whitener when they wash the clothes to help them look clean and bright. That's something I sure could have used toward the end of my mission!

I don’t know if it’s true for all kids, but with my boys their clean clothes didn’t stay clean for long.

They say it's a good idea to check pockets first before doing laundry. But if you're the parent of a boy, it's often a risky proposition.

Always check your pockets before you do laundry. A lot of vegetables can fit into a little shirt pocket!

Sometimes things in the sketchbook get a little ridiculous. Why in the world would missionaries think it's a good idea to waste something as valuable as peanut butter on something as trivial as laundry?

Actually, I've felt this way most of my life — as a missionary, as a toddler parent, and especially when I took our teenaged boys camping when I was scoutmaster!

Put it on the "hope" cycle

I've got a t-shirt that I wore once while changing my car's oil. The oil spilled all over it. After several years and dozens of washings later, my once white shirt is now a lovely shade of beige. It'll get there some day!

Keeping it clean

...and maybe there is a coronavirus setting as well?

It's the scariest place in our house, unless you count the garage. Or my son's room.
