Sketchbook: A better talk
I loved Elder Farnes' story with Pres. Oaks: "That's what we do."
Elder Renlund: "You are not an asterisk."
Elder Kearon: "Live in spiritual lift."
Sis. Chibota's sawubona.
Pres. Eyring: "Of course it's hard! It's a test!"
Elder Kyungu: "Bury the language of contention."
Elder Gong: "Why did the temple workers cross the road?"
And so much more! What were some of your highlights?

I heard that!
You likely know that I take notes during each of the sessions and post them afterward. I also keep my sketchbook nearby to write down any ideas or thoughts that pop into my head while I listen.
The spirit speaks to us in a language we can understand. That got me thinking, do musicians hear/feel music as they listen?

I see a weekend full of meetings
The words "predictions about general conference" made me think about this. It's probably a good candidate for staying in the sketchbook, but it's been years since I've drawn a fortune teller!
Tune in to general conference this weekend. Feed your soul!

Pajama time
If I recall, I overheard this in church and decided to borrow it for Zarahemla Times. And it's true: Dad pajamas are usually the worst!
Besides it being a conference-themed cartoon, there's another reason that I dusted off a Zarahemla Times gag for today. Today is also the day when The Complete Zarahemla Times collection becomes available!
The book is chock full of all the Zarahemla Times cartoons — the funny ones, the lame ones, and everything in between. It's been a few years in the making, and I'm really pleased with how it turned out. Order your copy today!
